As a Staff Software Engineer on the Clinical Fit team, you will play a key role in developing and scaling systems that connect patients with the healthcare providers and services best suited to their individual needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and fellow engineers, to deliver impactful solutions that enhance the overall patient experience. What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions for critical projects within the Clinical Fit team, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to define technical requirements and translate them into effective, maintainable code.
• Lead efforts to improve the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of data processing pipelines, booking systems, and healthcare provider matching algorithms.
• Incorporate advanced generative AI tools into workflows to explore new capabilities such as AI-driven insights, personalized dashboards, and automation of routine tasks.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of data analytics platforms that support healthcare matching and personalization features.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, security protocols, and privacy regulations to protect sensitive patient and provider information.
• Participate in planning, technical discussions, and strategic initiatives to shape the future of the Clinical Fit platform and its capabilities.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles, data privacy, and ethical AI practices in all development efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in AI, data analytics, and healthcare technology to continuously enhance the platform.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing scalable, data-centric backend services and front-end visualizations in high-scale environments.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to data-driven applications, such as Python, Java, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with integrating AI and machine learning models into production systems, especially generative AI tools.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platforms supporting healthcare or similar sensitive data domains.
• Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on building reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• The salary range for this position is between $210,000 and $270,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
