About the role
Zeta Global is looking for a Director of Client Partnerships to take ownership of building and sustaining strategic relationships with its most important clients. This leadership position focuses on ensuring that partnership initiatives deliver measurable value for both Zeta Global and its partner organizations. The Director will be responsible for guiding a team of partnership professionals and setting the vision for how client relationships evolve over time. Working from the New York office, this individual will collaborate with senior leaders across the company to ensure that partnership goals are fully integrated into broader business strategy and long-term growth plans.

What you'll do
Lead the end-to-end development and execution of partnership strategies across a portfolio of assigned high-value client accounts.
Build and nurture deep, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders at each partner organization.
Identify untapped business opportunities and growth potential within existing client relationships through regular performance reviews and market analysis.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product, and finance to ensure alignment on all partnership deliverables.
Prepare and deliver detailed reports on partnership performance metrics, pipeline health, and overall client satisfaction to leadership.
Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, contracts, and terms that satisfy both client expectations and company financial targets.
Act as the primary liaison between Zeta Global and partner organizations, handling escalations and resolving issues promptly.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of partnership managers to maintain consistent quality and accountability across all accounts.
Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with key clients to evaluate progress, adjust strategies, and set forward-looking priorities.
Stay informed about industry developments, competitive movements, and market shifts to continuously refine the partnership approach.
Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to develop tailored value propositions for each partner account.
Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new partner organizations to ensure a smooth and productive start.
Requirements
A demonstrated history of managing complex, high-value client partnerships or strategic account relationships in a professional services or technology environment.
Thorough knowledge of business development methodologies and the full lifecycle of partnership formation, execution, and optimization.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to present to and influence executive-level audiences.
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in client-facing roles, partnership management, or business development functions.
A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a closely related academic discipline.
The ability to manage several large-scale partnership initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience using structured frameworks to track progress and outcomes.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet with clients and attend industry gatherings.
Demonstrated experience presenting partnership strategies and business cases to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make sound decisions in fast-moving, high-pressure situations.
Nice to have
Previous experience operating within the marketing technology, adtech, or data-driven marketing industry vertical.
Hands-on familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems for managing partnership pipelines.
A track record of building and leading a team of partnership professionals or account managers from the ground up.
Existing professional relationships and networks within the New York City business and technology community.
Experience presenting at industry conferences or contributing to thought leadership in the partnerships or client success space.
Skills & tools
Working knowledge of CRM platforms including Salesforce and HubSpot for tracking partnership opportunities and client interactions.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools to measure partnership performance, ROI, and client engagement trends.
Familiarity with project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or Jira for team workflow management.
Comfort with financial modeling and forecasting tools used to structure partnership deals and project revenue outcomes.
Proficiency with video conferencing and team collaboration tools including Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Teams for distributed coordination.
Practical notes
This position is headquartered in the New York, NY office and requires regular in-person attendance during standard business hours.
The Director of Client Partnerships will report to the Vice President of Partnerships or a similarly senior organizational leader.
The role involves overseeing a portfolio of approximately 15 to 25 active client partnership accounts at any given time.
The hiring process typically includes multiple rounds of interviews with hiring managers, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership before a final decision is reached.
Candidates are expected to begin within 30 to 60 days of receiving an offer, subject to negotiation and mutual agreement.
