About the role
The Director of AI Solutions leads the design and execution of automation initiatives that streamline operations and sharpen decision-making across Wpromote. This position owns AI solutions that extend Polaris IQ's intelligence layer, translating strategic vision into functioning systems while coordinating closely with product, engineering, and data teams. The role requires fluent collaboration to deliver compliant, production-ready solutions and to mentor colleagues on practical AI application. You will drive the discovery and scoping of high-impact opportunities where AI can generate measurable efficiency and revenue uplift. You will act as the primary thought leader, ensuring that proposed solutions adhere to responsible AI practices and regulatory expectations. The position demands a balance of strategic vision and operational rigor to turn complex concepts into reliable, user-centric products. You will foster cross-functional partnerships to surface latent requirements and align AI capabilities with enterprise priorities.

What you'll do
- Orchestrating intake workflows to verify data quality and business context before modeling begins.
- Designing architecture that connects enterprise systems with Polaris IQ while adhering to strict security and privacy requirements.
- Conducting iterative stakeholder reviews to validate logic, reduce risk, and refine user interaction details.
- Deploying solutions into production environments using controlled deployment patterns and monitoring for steady performance.
- Coordinating with partner teams to align roadmaps, share learnings, and integrate AI features into existing products.
- Translating ambiguous requests into clear specifications that engineers can implement without constant clarification.
- Evaluating vendor offerings and open source options to select tools that match infrastructure and compliance needs.
- Documenting processes and decisions so future teams can understand, modify, and extend your work reliably.
- Leading the identification and prioritization of AI use cases that deliver the strongest return on investment.
- Establishing governance practices for model versioning, data lineage, and access control across solution lifecycles.
- Partnering with security and compliance to conduct risk assessments and implement necessary controls for AI-driven workflows.
- Driving the definition of success metrics and experiment frameworks to validate solution effectiveness over time.
- Facilitating training sessions and knowledge transfers to elevate the AI fluency of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Continuously scanning the market for emerging techniques and tools that could enhance Wpromote's solution set.
Requirements
You bring hands-on experience building AI products and navigating technical constraints in real deployments. At least 3 years of professional experience working on AI initiatives is mandatory for this position. You understand product thinking and user experience principles well enough to influence design decisions with engineering. Clear written and verbal communication skills are required to align multiple departments and executive stakeholders. You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, as this position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. You will need reliable access to equipment and environments necessary to perform remote work effectively. A demonstrated track record of delivering production-grade software solutions is essential for success in this role. You should be comfortable interpreting technical documentation and translating it into actionable plans for cross-functional teams.

This role may be performed remotely in most states within the United States, with some exclusions. The position has an associated annual target bonus component based on company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and require active employment in good standing and not being on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. While this role offers flexibility to work remotely, office hubs exist in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York for in-person collaboration and learning opportunities.
