About the role
WebFX is seeking an entry-level candidate for our Marketing team who will immerse themselves in the daily execution of data-informed marketing initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful hire will own the creation and implementation of SEO and PPC strategies that directly influence client visibility and performance metrics in the digital sphere. You will be responsible for planning content strategy and constructing detailed outlines that guide our expert copywriters in producing high-converting web content. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of conversion rate optimization projects, where you will analyze user behavior and recommend best practices to improve client outcomes. You will also plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns designed to nurture leads and support client retention goals. A core part of this position requires performing light editing within client content management systems to correct errors and implement approved assets quickly and accurately. Furthermore, you will analyze complex marketing campaign data to extract actionable insights and prepare comprehensive monthly reports for stakeholder review. You will interpret web analytics, demographic data, market research, and buyer behaviors to continuously update and refine marketing strategies for maximum impact.

- Manage the planning, execution, and reporting of CRO projects while recommending best practices that enhance client conversion rates.
- Plan and execute multi-channel email marketing campaigns that engage audiences and support lead nurturing objectives.
- Perform light editing directly in the backend of client websites to fix errors, update information, and implement new content as required.
- Analyze campaign performance data using platforms like Google Analytics and RevenueCloudFX to prepare detailed monthly performance reports.
- Interpret web analytics, demographic data, market research, and buyer behaviors to identify opportunities and update strategies accordingly.
- Conduct ongoing industry research, including competitor analysis and in-depth keyword research, to uncover trends and strategic advantages.
- Perform A/B tests, website usability evaluations, and conversion rate testing to determine optimal solutions and provide data-backed recommendations.
- Partner closely with senior digital marketers on large-scale client campaigns to contribute to strategic thinking and execution.
- Occasionally join client meetings alongside senior marketers to present strategy updates and discuss performance results with stakeholders.
- Utilize tools such as Excel, Google Suite, and Google Analytics to organize data, track progress, and support decision-making.
- Apply basic HTML knowledge when needed to make minor adjustments and ensure technical accuracy in digital assets.
- Maintain a proactive stance in solving problems and identifying improvements across client marketing programs.
Requirements
You must possess a Bachelor's Degree, with all majors welcome, demonstrating a broad educational foundation that supports marketing responsibilities. Candidates must have a GPA of 3.4 or above, reflecting strong academic performance and discipline. Upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply, as we interview and hire up to a year in advance of degree completion. Prior experience in any field, such as a part-time job, summer job, or internship, is expected to show real-world engagement and work ethic. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying ideas clearly and professionally in various formats. Customer service experience in any industry is valued as it demonstrates an understanding of client needs and relationship management. Analytical and research skills are required to interpret data, draw conclusions, and support strategic recommendations effectively. While digital marketing experience is a bonus, it is never a strict requirement as we focus on underlying capabilities. Similarly, copywriting for the web experience is appreciated but not mandatory for entry into this role.
You must be highly proficient with tools such as Excel and Google Suite to manage tasks, analyze data, and communicate efficiently. Familiarity with Google Analytics is expected to perform basic tracking, reporting, and campaign analysis tasks. A foundational understanding of basic HTML is considered an advantage for making minor edits and collaborating with technical teams. Compensation details provided are within the range of $47,000 to $50,000, potentially higher based on work experience.
