About the role
Vendelux is seeking a leader to manage and expand our event organizer partner program. This senior player-coach position involves building our account management infrastructure while maintaining direct oversight of key strategic relationships. The successful candidate will act as the operational backbone for our partnerships team, establishing the systems and culture required to support high-touch organizer clients. You will own the end-to-end health of our organizer ecosystem, ensuring that our strategies align with both partner needs and company objectives. This role requires a balance of hands-on relationship work and strategic process design to scale efficiently. You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights for partners while safeguarding long-term retention and growth. The position demands comfort with ambiguity and the ability to lead through influence in a rapidly evolving environment. Ultimately, you will shape the standard for how Vendelux supports and grows its network of event organizers.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of account managers focused on organizer clients.
- Establish and document account management frameworks, including health metrics, operational playbooks, and partner segmentation models.
- Own and improve retention and expansion targets specific to the organizer segment, identifying risks and opportunities proactively.
- Act as the primary strategic contact for high-value event organizer partners, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Negotiate and formalize data-sharing agreements and technical collaborations to enable seamless integration and mutual value.
- Oversee the full partner onboarding lifecycle, from initial outreach to activation and ongoing support.
- Create custom data reports and dashboards that provide organizers with clear insights, while synthesizing feedback for the product and engineering teams.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Data teams to identify, develop, and execute upsell and renewal strategies.
- Represent Vendelux at industry conferences and events, gathering competitive intelligence and market trends to inform program direction.
- Develop and maintain playbooks for account-based initiatives, ensuring consistency and scalability across the organizer network.
- Drive adoption of key features and tools within the organizer ecosystem, tracking usage patterns and advocating for improvements.
- Partner with leadership to define and refine success metrics for organizer account health, long-term value, and program growth.
- Identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities by analyzing organizer behavior and uncovering unmet needs.
- Facilitate regular business reviews with key partners, aligning on goals, performance, and future collaboration opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient resolution of partner issues.
Requirements
- Bring 7 to 10+ years of cumulative experience in partnerships, customer success, or account management roles.
- Include at least 3 years of experience directly managing a team, ideally within a B2B SaaS organization.
- Demonstrate a consistent history of achieving and exceeding retention and expansion goals over time.
- Show the ability to design and implement scalable processes, KPIs, and operational playbooks that others can follow.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills, with proven experience analyzing usage data and interpreting adoption metrics to inform decisions.
- Communicate effectively with complex stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and aligning diverse perspectives toward shared outcomes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth company by managing competing priorities and shifting demands with professionalism.
- Have a track record of working with enterprise-level stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.

- Familiarity with event technology stacks, registration platforms, or sponsorship systems used by organizers.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices related to sharing organizer and attendee information.
