About the role
This role is key to expanding Samsara's global revenue generation. You will be responsible for the entire lead process, from initial capture and distribution to data enhancement, service level agreement management, and overall funnel performance across all sales regions.

What you'll do
- Manage the global lead flow system, overseeing lead intake, routing rules, channel configurations, data enrichment, and SLA adherence, with a focus on continuous improvement in speed, accuracy, and conversion rates.
- Analyze lead-to-opportunity conversion rates across different regions and market segments, identifying areas for improvement and leading initiatives to drive measurable results.
- Design and implement scalable processes and system enhancements to support Samsara's ongoing growth, addressing root causes of issues rather than superficial fixes.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to provide marketing and sales leadership with clear and reliable insights into pipeline generation performance, proactively highlighting trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Act as a central operational resource for go-to-market teams, building strong working relationships with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, and Engineering, and effectively communicating complex operational topics to diverse audiences.
- Integrate AI and automation into lead flow processes to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance efficiency, sharing successful strategies with the wider team.
- Proactively identify potential issues within the lead funnel and propose solutions, framing problems clearly and offering actionable recommendations in cross-functional discussions.
- Serve as a reliable and solutions-focused partner to Account Development Representatives and Marketing Campaign Managers, addressing inquiries about lead quality, performance measurement, and system functionality, and incorporating feedback for ongoing improvements.
- Uphold and promote Samsara's core values, serving as a role model for principles such as customer focus, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusivity, and teamwork.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, Business Systems, Analytics, or a related B2B go-to-market function, with a strong focus on analytical problem-solving and end-to-end program management.
- Advanced proficiency in LeanData for lead routing and Salesforce, including a deep understanding of the Lead, Contact, Account, Campaign, Activity, and Opportunity data structures.
- Solid understanding of funnel dynamics, measurement, and analytics, with the ability to diagnose conversion challenges, conduct analyses, and present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across various go-to-market functions, capable of explaining complex operational concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Proven ability to independently manage cross-functional programs from initial problem identification through execution and performance measurement.
- Experience utilizing AI tools in daily work, such as in-app features like Salesforce Einstein or standalone solutions like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Databricks for data querying, dataset retrieval, and ad hoc analysis.
- Familiarity with Tableau for dashboard creation and funnel reporting interpretation.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and sales engagement platforms like Gong.
- Proficiency with automation and workflow tools including Gumloop, Zapier, Clay, and Airtable.

Practical notes
- Annual base salary range: $105,315 - $159,300 USD.
- This role is eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff and ongoing refresh opportunities based on performance.
- The company offers a flexible remote work model for US-based employees, with specific exclusions for the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
