- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gain an in-depth understanding of Rubrik's cloud architecture.
- Contribute to the security roadmap for cloud products, ensuring alignment across various security domains.
- Serve as a primary advocate for cloud product security, working with customers to refine the roadmap across different aspects such as user experience and technology.
- Lead strategic initiatives across cloud products to ensure they comply with security standards.
- Identify and prioritize risks associated with platform vulnerabilities, managing their resolution.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across departments to align on vision and secure necessary resources.
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, presenting business cases to leadership and representing Rubrik in external engagements.
- Drive business growth by identifying market opportunities and leading new product initiatives that enhance revenue and customer trust.
- Mentor other Product Managers, sharing best practices and fostering collaboration with engineering teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in Product Management, specifically in enterprise cloud product development, ideally with hands-on experience in technical or architectural roles.
- Previous experience as a Security Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior/Staff Engineer is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, threat modeling, and familiarity with major hyperscalers.
- Practical experience in API security, microservices architecture, and container security (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of managing multiple high-impact products simultaneously, with a solid grasp of the underlying technology stack.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to various audiences.
- Experience in security domains such as Zero Trust architecture, authentication and authorization, and data protection technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience; advanced degrees or relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, CCSK) are highly valued.
Salary information
The base salary for this position ranges from $175,500 to $263,300 USD. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires based on U.S. location. The final salary will be influenced by factors such as work location, skills, experience, and education. The role also includes eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
