We are seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to join our team in EMEA. This position is focused on designing and implementing cloud solutions that enhance our offerings in data security and recovery. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. You will own the technical validation of customer requirements ensuring proposed architectures align precisely with stated business and technical objectives. In this capacity, you will act as a subject matter expert responsible for shaping the technical narrative of complex engagements. You will translate ambiguous customer problems into concrete, actionable, and scalable cloud designs. Furthermore, you will leverage deep expertise to anticipate risks and architect resilient solutions that exceed client expectations. You will contribute directly to the growth and success of our Cloud Solutions Team in a critical EMEA market.

What you'll do
Architect and deliver cloud infrastructure solutions that address specific customer data security and recovery challenges.
Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and sales teams to define solution scopes and validate technical feasibility.
Evaluate existing client environments and workflows to identify gaps and opportunities for cloud-native optimization.
Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural diagrams.
Conduct technical proof-of-concept exercises to validate design assumptions and platform capabilities.
Advise clients on best practices for cloud security, compliance, and operational excellence in data management.
Guide the implementation process to ensure deployed solutions adhere to architectural standards and performance targets.
Monitor industry developments in cloud and data protection technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic customer engagements during the sales cycle.
Support the creation of compelling technical proposals and business cases for solution adoption.
Champion the use of Infrastructure as Code methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability in deployments.
Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior team members on solution design principles.
Evaluate vendor offerings and third-party tools to determine optimal integrations within solution architectures.
Drive the documentation of all architectural decisions to ensure clarity and continuity throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cloud architecture, solution design, or a closely related technical field.
Demonstrated proficiency in designing solutions on major public cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Possess a strong and current understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity management, and data protection best practices.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for automating cloud resource provisioning.
Have a proven track record of excellent verbal and written communication, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
Showcase a history of working collaboratively in cross-functional environments with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver structured solutions.
Nice to have
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for designing scalable and portable applications.
Working knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment and operations workflows.
Direct experience with data protection, backup, and recovery solutions, particularly within cloud environments.
