About the role
Riveron is on the lookout for a Senior Associate to enhance its Technology and Innovation team. This position will primarily involve working on OneStream implementations, optimizing systems, and providing ongoing managed services to a variety of clients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients achieve their financial management goals through effective technology solutions.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with project teams to implement OneStream solutions, focusing on financial consolidations and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Oversee daily helpdesk inquiries, track application performance, and support the month-end closing processes.
- Convert business needs into technical specifications and configure OneStream functionalities accordingly.
- Create proof of concepts and deliver tailored solutions to stakeholders at client organizations.
- Conduct internal testing and lead user acceptance testing for new features and enhancements.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and provide training sessions for end users on specific application functionalities.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Assist in the integration of OneStream with other financial systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in financial technology to bring innovative solutions to clients.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
- Support the development of marketing materials and case studies that showcase successful project implementations.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems is essential.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing or enhancing OneStream or comparable Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software.
- Proven track record of participating in multiple full-cycle CPM implementations.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and EBITDA calculations.
- Familiarity with accounting processes such as budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and recommendations to both client leadership and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Nice to have
- Experience with OneStream MarketPlace solutions would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of VB.net or Visual Basic for business rule development is a plus.
- Completion of OneStream online training or possession of a professional certification is desirable.
- Familiarity with Hyperion EPM or other CPM platforms can be beneficial.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment is a plus.
