Key facts
What you'll do
- Analyze and assess current employee benefits programs, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement to meet employee needs effectively.
- Collaborate with HR and management to design and implement new benefits initiatives that promote employee well-being and engagement.
- Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to gather feedback from employees regarding their satisfaction with existing benefits and workplace culture.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of benefits programs, policies, and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in employee benefits and workplace culture to keep Prex competitive and attractive to top talent.
- Assist in the onboarding process by providing new employees with information about benefits and cultural initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Work closely with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related transactions.
- Prepare and present reports to management on the effectiveness of benefits programs and employee engagement initiatives, using data to support recommendations for changes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and manage relationships related to employee benefits offerings.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops aimed at educating employees about available benefits and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Act as a point of contact for employees with questions or concerns regarding benefits, providing timely and accurate information.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that aim to enhance overall employee experience and engagement within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, employee benefits, or a related area, with a focus on benefits administration and workplace culture.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits and workplace practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience in a tech or startup environment, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in such settings.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or a related credential.
- Knowledge of wellness programs and initiatives that promote employee health and well-being.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling effective communication in a diverse workplace.

- Familiarity with employee engagement platforms and survey tools to gather feedback and insights from staff.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from conception to implementation.

This position is based in Buenos Aires, and candidates must be eligible to work in Argentina.
