What you'll do
- Analyze customer financial profiles and credit data to design tailored financing and insurance solutions that meet specific needs.
- Structure and submit credit applications to a diverse network of lending sources, managing the workflow to secure timely approvals.
- Present and sell financing options, insurance products, service contracts, and warranties to commercial vehicle customers with clarity and confidence.
- Build and maintain resilient partnerships with banks, insurance providers, and other financial institutions to secure favorable terms and streamline processes.
- Coordinate closely with sales leadership and front-line staff to improve finance inclusion, drive profitability, and enhance customer retention rates.
- Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all finance, lease, and regulatory paperwork for every transaction.
- Translate complex financial jargon and product features into understandable benefits that resonate with different customer profiles and decision-makers.
- Coach and mentor sales teams on lender criteria, product knowledge, and regulatory obligations to elevate the overall quality of financial discussions.
- Track key performance indicators, compile detailed finance reports, and support departmental targets through data-driven insights and accountability.
- Observe all federal, state, local, and internal company rules, ensuring that compliance is embedded in every interaction and decision.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues, clarify finance agreements, and ensure a seamless post-sale experience.
- Identify trends in the commercial vehicle market and adjust financing strategies to align with evolving customer expectations and industry standards.
- Serve as the primary financial advisor for key accounts, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the vehicle ownership lifecycle.
- Utilize finance systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage workflows, document processes, and maintain accurate records efficiently.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proven sales and customer relationship abilities within a commercial or retail environment.
- Maintain a focus on ethics and integrity in all interactions, particularly when handling sensitive financial information.
- Bring preferred experience from automotive, commercial vehicle, or finance insurance operations to the role.
- Analyze credit data effectively and design financing structures that balance risk with customer accessibility.
- Coordinate smoothly with multiple lenders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on requirements and timelines.
- Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills in high-stakes and time-sensitive situations.
- Show proficiency with finance systems and Microsoft Office to support daily workflows and reporting needs.
- Hold or be capable of earning the appropriate state insurance license where required by regulation or job scope.
