Manager, Advisory and Services Partnerships
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end creation of Ramp's System Integrator and Advisory channel program, translating ambiguous market demand into a repeatable partner acquisition and delivery machine. You will design the motion by which implementation work flows to external partners, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with Ramp's commercial engine. You will build the playbooks, contracts, and tooling that allow partners to sell, implement, and support Ramp with confidence and consistency. This role requires you to act as the primary architect of the partner ecosystem, balancing strategic vision with the operational rigor needed to execute at scale. You will directly shape how Ramp acquires new customers through trusted advisor relationships and embedded delivery networks. The position demands comfort with incomplete information and the ability to construct coherent strategies from fragmented inputs. You will be measured by the quality and growth of the partner pipeline and the success of the customers they bring in.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Discover and acquire new System Integrators (SIs), Advisory firms, and boutique consulting shops capable of referring and supporting Ramp customer implementations.
- Architect the intake and routing logic that determines which implementation work is directed to specific System Integrator partners based on capability and fit.
- Create campaigns, co-branded playbooks, and sales collateral that equip partners to move deals through the Ramp GTM motion with clarity and confidence.
- Translate observed program outcomes into updated playbooks, contracts, tooling, and quality assurance processes that compound partner effectiveness over time.
- Construct a holistic partner acquisition strategy that balances growth targets with the quality of the referral pipeline from middle-market and lower-market System Integrators (SIs).
- Analyze imperfect data to build forecasts and pressure-test assumptions, converting analytical outputs into concrete partnership decisions and resource allocations.
- Serve as a natural cross-functional integrator, aligning Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and external partners on shared objectives and execution timelines.
- Operate with high agency and a bias toward structured problem-solving, resolving ambiguity by designing processes where none currently exist.
- Own the end-to-end health of the partner advisory and services motion, from first partner conversations to scaled, repeatable execution.
- Define the criteria and workflows that allow the sales team to rapidly inject the right partner into the right deal without friction or delay.
Requirements
- 6+ years in consulting, partnerships, channel operations, or professional services with a track record of building, not just managing, programs from initial design to scaled execution.
- Direct experience scaling a partner delivery or channel program, demonstrating fluency across commercial, operational, and technical dimensions of implementation.
- Comfortable designing a process from scratch while also pressure-testing and improving an existing process that may be underperforming or misaligned.
- Growth mindset focused on accelerating partner referral pipeline, with particular experience engaging middle-market and lower market System Integrators (SIs).
- Analytical capability to construct forecasts from incomplete data, challenge underlying assumptions, and convert models into decisions that impact partner behavior and program structure.
- A natural cross-functional communicator who can maintain alignment across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and external partner organizations within a single week.
- High agency and a bias toward structured solutions, driven to resolve ambiguity by creating clarity through process design and disciplined execution.
- Willingness to embrace evolving scope where responsibilities extend across strategic planning, operational execution, and tactical implementation support as business needs dictate.
