Job description
Women's Mental Health Specialist (Contract) at Pomelo Care.
About the role
Women's Mental Health Specialist (Contract) at Pomelo Care is a focused role dedicated to expanding access for individuals navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions through synchronous virtual care. As a specialist joining this initiative, you will operate within the Pomelo network to deliver evidence-based therapeutic support tailored to this specific population. The position emphasizes autonomy in clinical decision-making while adhering to established standards of practice and collaboration within a growing digital health ecosystem. You will be responsible for conducting synchronous video visits that address the nuanced mental health aspects of midlife hormonal and life transitions. A core part of this role involves creating and maintaining individualized care plans that integrate non-hormonal strategies such as sleep hygiene for insomnia and cognitive approaches for brain fog. The position requires a commitment to maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for every patient interaction conducted through the Pomelo platform. You will be expected to exercise strong clinical judgment to manage patient needs independently during scheduled sessions. This role represents a key opportunity to scale a specialized practice model that prioritizes accessible, high-quality mental health support for women during significant life stages.
