This position establishes a specialized role within a clinical network dedicated to supporting individuals during perimenopause and menopause. You will manage a personal caseload, conducting synchronous video consultations and designing care pathways based on clinical intake. Your expertise will guide patient journeys, with autonomy in clinical decision-making balanced within a structured framework that prioritizes privacy and individual needs. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Key Position Details

• Engagement Type: 1099 independent contractor role. This classification excludes eligibility for employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, workers' compensation, or unemployment insurance.

Location: Remote/Home-based practice.

• Compensation Model: Compensation is provided on a per-visit basis. Specific rates may vary based on visit type, duration, timing, payer requirements, and other program variables.

Primary Responsibilities

Your core function will be the delivery of synchronous video care to women navigating midlife transitions. This involves a full clinical cycle from initial contact through documentation and follow-up.

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide therapeutic support for individuals experiencing perimenopausal and menopausal changes.
• Formulate and maintain individualized care plans that address specific health concerns, utilizing evidence-based frameworks.
• Implement non-hormonal therapeutic strategies, including cognitive behavioral methods for insomnia (CBT-I) and brain fog (CBT-M), as well as other symptom management techniques.
• Perform precise and timely documentation for every client interaction.
• Adhere strictly to all clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Operate telehealth platforms, video conferencing software, and electronic health record systems proficiently.
• Engage in the credentialing and enrollment process with commercial health plans specific to Michigan, a process managed by the support team.
• Participate in optional case consultations and provider forums to refine clinical practice and review outcomes.

Requirements for Practice

To join this network, you must meet the following professional and technical criteria.

• Possess an active license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). A background in Michigan practice spanning at least five years is also acceptable in lieu of a current license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of three years of direct experience providing mental health care to women.
• Exhibit proficiency in the use of telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
• Apply strong clinical judgment and the ability to exercise professional autonomy during patient sessions.

Network Support and Practice Flexibility

Joining this network provides comprehensive infrastructure support, allowing you to concentrate on clinical care.

• Administrative Relief: The network handles all credentialing, billing, and administrative tasks associated with the visits you conduct through the platform.
• Patient Matching and Scheduling: You will receive support for patient matching and scheduling based on your availability, licensure status, credentialing standing, patient demand, and payer eligibility criteria.
• Technical and Documentation Assistance: Access is provided to administrative and technical support for platform navigation, along with documentation support for your visits.
• Professional Community: Optional case consultations, provider forums, and clinical updates are available to foster peer learning and development.
• Schedule Autonomy: You determine your availability for patient visits. You may accept or decline scheduling opportunities as they arise. The network does not guarantee a minimum volume of visits, patients, or earnings.

Compensation Structure

Providers are compensated on a per-visit basis. Rates are variable and influenced by visit type, duration, timing, payer requirements, and other program factors. Based on current data and typical session lengths, completed visits may generate approximate earnings equivalent to $80.00 to $100.00 per active visit hour. Pomelo Care does not guarantee a minimum number of visits or a minimum level of earnings.
