This contract opportunity invites you to join a specialized network focused on delivering virtual nutrition care to individuals navigating midlife health challenges. The primary focus of this role is conducting synchronous video visits with clients experiencing perimenopause and menopause to guide them through evidence-based strategies. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will operate your practice through the Pomelo Care network while maintaining full responsibility for your clinical work. You will not be classified as an employee and therefore will not receive standard employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, workers' compensation, or unemployment insurance. Pomelo Care handles the operational backbone of your practice, including matching you with appropriate clients, managing all billing processes, and handling necessary administrative tasks so you can concentrate on delivering high-quality care. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients manage metabolic and hormonal shifts through tailored nutrition interventions during this significant life stage.

Requirements
To participate in this role, you must hold national registration as an RD or RDN and possess a valid Massachusetts license to practice. You must have a minimum of three years of experience delivering evidence-based nutrition therapy for specific health conditions. These specific conditions include metabolic syndrome, weight and body composition shifts, osteopenia or osteoporosis, gut health issues like IBS and bloating, and adherence to elimination diets. You must have demonstrated experience with plant-forward and plant-based eating patterns as well as anti-inflammatory nutrition approaches. Proficiency with telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems is essential for performing your duties. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently during patient sessions are strict requirements for this position.
Credentialing and Enrollment Process

Based on current structures and typical session lengths, completed visits may generate earnings roughly equivalent to $60.00 to $70.00 per active visit hour. It is important to understand that Pomelo does not assure a specific number of visits or a fixed income, and earnings are directly tied to patient demand and acceptance of scheduled slots.
