About the role

In this Data Pipeline Lead for Maternal Health role at Pomelo, you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle that powers clinical decision support for mothers and newborns. You will translate ambiguous clinical questions into structured data workflows that are robust, auditable, and actionable for time-pressed providers. Requirements

• Bring three years of experience building models for healthcare settings, with a track record of responsible deployment.
• Demonstrate hands-on familiarity with at least one probabilistic programming framework such as Pyro or NumPyro.
• Show proficiency in using proper scoring rules to evaluate predictions and assess calibration under uncertainty.
• Prove ability to communicate uncertainty and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders without technical backgrounds.
• Exhibit a mindset that values scientific rigor and evidence over hierarchy when analyzing problems and proposing solutions.
