- Optimize system performance and reliability to support rapid growth while maintaining an exceptional user experience for both patients and clinicians.
- Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and agentic tooling to significantly accelerate delivery and amplify engineering impact.
- Champion best practices in software development, including code review, testing, and documentation, to raise the bar for the entire team.
- Influence long-term platform decisions, balancing innovation with operational stability and scalability in a fast-paced product environment.
- Work closely with data and product teams to turn insights into actionable features that improve health outcomes and care efficiency.
- Lead critical initiatives that require deep technical expertise and cross-functional coordination to deliver on ambitious goals.
Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience shipping high-quality, scalable software systems in production environments.
- Have an expert level of proficiency in system and relational database design and one or more languages like Java, C#, Kotlin, Python, Go, etc.
- Have experience guiding technical teams in the development of applications with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Are passionate about staying on the cutting-edge of agentic tooling to significantly accelerate delivery and amplify engineering impact.
- Have a track record of delivering elegant and maintainable solutions to complex problems that matter to users and the business.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment where priorities can shift quickly based on clinical needs.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinicians, product managers, and engineering peers.
- Are committed to building inclusive solutions that reflect diverse perspectives and the needs of a diverse patient population.

- Have prior experience in AI/ML, natural language processing or building agent-based systems.

- This is a full-time role based at HQ.
- New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable jurisdictions require salary range disclosure in job postings.
- The listed compensation range is $220,000 to $260,000 and is one component of total compensation, which also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities.
- Individual pay decisions consider qualifications, experience, skillset, geography, and internal equity.
- This role is open to candidates of varying skill levels, and compensation will be adjusted accordingly within the defined range.
