What you'll do

• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes and requirements, providing tailored Oracle Financials solutions that meet their specific needs.
• Lead the implementation of Oracle Financials modules, ensuring that all configurations align with best practices and client expectations.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing financial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality of Oracle Financials applications, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
• Provide training and support to end-users, enabling them to effectively the Oracle Financials system and maximize its benefits.
• Create detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and future reference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders, to ensure integration of Oracle Financials with other enterprise systems.
• Stay current with Oracle Financials updates and industry trends, proactively recommending enhancements and upgrades to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Financials applications, providing timely support to clients as needed.
• Participate in project planning and management activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Assist in the development of proposals and presentations for prospective clients, showcasing Bamboohr's expertise in Oracle Financials.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction throughout the engagement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials consulting or a related field.
• Proven expertise in implementing and configuring Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and best practices in financial management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex financial systems and recommend effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with data migration and integration processes, particularly in relation to Oracle Financials.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information technology, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Oracle Financials certification or relevant professional certifications in financial management.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and its implementation.
• Knowledge of additional Oracle applications or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and financial reporting software.
• Previous experience in a consulting role within a fast-paced environment.
