What you'll do
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Workday's Advanced Compensation module for various clients, ensuring alignment with their specific business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to analyze current compensation structures and recommend enhancements based on industry best practices and market trends.
- Design and execute compensation plans, including base salary, bonuses, and equity programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with legal standards.
- Provide expert guidance on compensation-related policies and procedures, helping clients navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Conduct training sessions for HR teams and stakeholders on the effective use of Workday's compensation tools, ensuring they are equipped to manage compensation processes independently.
- Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding compensation inquiries, offering timely and accurate responses to ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in compensation management and Workday enhancements, sharing knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support business development efforts by providing insights on compensation trends and client needs during the pre-sales process.
- Assist in the development of compensation benchmarking reports, helping clients understand their position in the market relative to competitors.
- Participate in project management activities, ensuring that compensation projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored solutions that drive business success.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation consulting or a related field, with a strong focus on Workday Advanced Compensation.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing compensation systems within Workday.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations, including FLSA, pay equity, and compliance issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; familiarity with data visualization software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) is preferred.
