As a Senior Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking Consultant at Peoplevisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our clients' HR and payroll processes. What you'll do
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Workday Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking modules for clients, ensuring alignment with their business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze client needs, translating them into effective Workday solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing of payroll processes and time tracking functionalities to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients, empowering them to utilize Workday's capabilities to their fullest potential.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll, absence, and time tracking, acting as a point of contact for client inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and Workday enhancements to provide clients with informed recommendations.
- Participate in project planning and management activities, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and adherence to project timelines.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored solutions to enhance their HR operations.
- Collaborate with the Peoplevisor team to identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Assist in the development of best practices and standard operating procedures for Workday implementations and support.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in Workday and related HR technologies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Workday, specifically in Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking modules.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing Workday solutions in a consulting or client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in the Texas region.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with HR best practices and processes, particularly in payroll and time management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Nice to have
- Workday certification in Payroll, Absence Management, or Time Tracking.
- Experience with other HRIS systems and integrations with Workday.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting capabilities within Workday.
