Account Executive - Hong Kong
Job description
About the role
The Account Executive position in Hong Kong at Pebl centers on driving revenue growth and market penetration in one of Asia's most dynamic commercial hubs. You will own a portfolio of high-value accounts across Hong Kong and the wider APAC region, acting as the primary point of contact for decision-makers in fast-moving industries. You will translate complex global employment needs into clear platform value, positioning Pebl as the strategic partner for companies scaling across borders. Every day you will apply consultative selling techniques to uncover latent needs and align solutions with executive-level priorities. You will leverage deep product knowledge to articulate how our AI-powered platform reduces compliance risk and accelerates hiring in multiple jurisdictions. You will build long-term trust relationships that result in multi-year contracts and strong executive sponsorship. Ultimately, your work will directly influence revenue growth, market penetration, and the long-term success of Pebl in a region defined by speed, ambition, and connectivity.
What you'll do
Own your book. Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive retention, expansion, and long-term revenue growth across your territory. You will manage the full sales cycle for a defined set of high-value clients, aligning Pebl's platform capabilities with their evolving global employment needs.
Prospect with purpose. Build pipeline through outbound campaigns, executive networks, partner channels, and market events across Hong Kong and APAC. You will proactively identify new opportunities and maintain a disciplined, data-driven approach to pipeline development.
Deliver results. Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets while maintaining sharp, proactive forecasts. You will own your numbers and adjust tactics in real time to ensure predictable growth.
Lead with insight. Develop deep expertise in our platform, competitive landscape, and the regulatory environment shaping cross-border hiring in the region. You will translate this expertise into compelling narratives that differentiate Pebl in crowded sales cycles.
Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, and regional Leadership to maximize account impact and accelerate deals. You will ensure alignment across teams to deliver cohesive solutions and seamless execution.
Influence the business. Bring client and market intelligence back to the team to sharpen our APAC strategy and keep us ahead of the curve. Your feedback will directly inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market decisions.
Navigate complex deals. Guide multiple stakeholders through long sales cycles, aligning incentives and overcoming objections with data-driven narratives. You will manage competing priorities while maintaining clarity on value and risk.
Act as a trusted advisor. Frame conversations around business outcomes, total cost of ownership, and strategic growth rather than just product features. You will focus on executive-level impact and return on investment.
Drive adoption and expansion. Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and coordinate internal resources to support ongoing success. You will ensure clients derive maximum value from Pebl's platform over time.
Represent Pebl professionally. Be the visible ambassador of our brand, values, and mission in every interaction and market forum. You will embody our commitment to compliance, innovation, and customer trust.
Build resilient pipelines. Maintain a robust top-of-funnel to ensure consistent deal flow and minimize revenue volatility. You will continuously nurture opportunities and refine your reach strategy.
Champion data-led selling. Use insights and metrics to refine approaches, prioritize opportunities, and justify resource allocation. You will rely on facts and trends to drive decision-making.
Partner with Customer Success. Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing satisfaction to reduce churn and drive net revenue retention. You will act as a bridge between clients and internal support functions.
Contribute to product feedback. Share frontline insights with internal teams to inform roadmap decisions and platform enhancements. Your direct exposure to client challenges will help shape product evolution.
Requirements
3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience - mid-market or commercial segments preferred - with a consistent record of quota attainment. You must demonstrate a history of achieving and exceeding targets in a structured sales environment.
Experience selling into Hong Kong or APAC markets, ideally into SaaS, HR Tech, consulting, or high-growth B2B environments. You should understand the nuances of selling into this region and the types of organizations that benefit most from global employment solutions.
A consultative, high-trust selling approach. You ask sharp questions, uncover real business needs, and earn credibility with senior stakeholders. You build relationships based on insight, transparency, and long-term value.
Strong business acumen and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals with confidence. You can interpret organizational dynamics and align multiple decision-makers around a single, compelling path forward.
Fluency in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage for cross-border client engagement. Language skills are essential for effective communication and trust-building in local and regional contexts.
Resilience and ownership - you hold yourself accountable to outcomes and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. You take responsibility for results and maintain momentum in the face of ambiguity and change.
Willingness to travel (~20%) across APAC to build and strengthen client relationships. You will engage face-to-face with key stakeholders to deepen partnerships and expand Pebl's presence across the region.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though demonstrated performance and impact matter most. Formal education is valued alongside practical achievements and evidence of consistent execution.
Nice to have
Only include preferred items if they are explicitly stated in the source material. The requirements above reflect all expectations defined in the provided facts.
Practical notes
This role is full-time and remote-based in Hong Kong. Travel across APAC is expected at approximately 20% to support client relationships and market initiatives. Success in this position depends on the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, compliance-conscious environment while collaborating closely with internal teams to drive measurable outcomes.
