About the role
You will directly support Pebl's Go-to-Market teams by driving financial planning and analysis initiatives that shape enterprise budgeting and annual revenue plans. In this remote role based in the United States, you will serve global stakeholders and ensure that long-term financial goals are tracked, managed, and met with precision. You will partner closely with senior leadership in Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing, collaborating across cross-functional teams to manage strategic budgets and acquisition spend return. Specifically, you will spearhead the Revenue monthly financial forecasting, annual budgeting process, and operating plan variance analysis while owning ad hoc revenue projects. You will promote zero-based budgeting principles, rigorously reviewing costs and forecasts on both scheduled and unscheduled cycles. This role reports to the VP of FP&A and is accountable for providing financial insight through variance analysis for operating expenses, capital spend, and project spend.

What you'll do
- Analyze actual results, forecasts, and budgets while working with Revenue teams across the globe to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Model revenue projections stemming from Go-to-Marketing initiatives and quantify return on spend.
- Measure Customer Acquisition Cost, Lifetime Value, Net Revenue Retention, and conduct various cohort analyses.
- Firmly advance zero-based budgeting principles through scheduled and unscheduled rigorous reviews of costs and forecasts.
- Support continued development of the team's forecasting tool, CUBE, to enhance accuracy and usability.
- Provide financial insight and support by conducting variance analysis against budget and forecast for operating expenses, capital spend, and project spend.
- Monitor financial KPIs, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align financial plans with business objectives and operational realities.
- Translate complex financial data into clear narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Partner with Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to evaluate spend effectiveness and optimize acquisition strategies.
- Contribute to scenario planning and what-if analyses to guide leadership in making informed financial choices.
- Maintain rigorous financial controls and ensure data integrity across planning and reporting activities.
- Act as a financial thought partner to the Revenue organization, influencing strategy through data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in an FP&A or similar consulting role.
- Demonstrate financial modeling and forecasting experience as a core competency.
- Show advanced proficiency with Google Suite including Sheets and Slides or Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have experience with business planning software, preferably Anaplan, to support complex planning exercises.
- Possess NetSuite experience or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
- Prove you can work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, maintaining a strong backbone.
- Exhibit critical thinking skills and self-starter mentality, embracing change and leading innovation in financial reporting and modeling.
- Display strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently within remote teams.

This role is based in the United States and is full-time. The position is remote, allowing work from within the United States. No travel is required, and no visa sponsorship is provided.
