What you'll do
- Partner with executives and operations teams to define business priorities and uncover areas for data-driven optimization.
- Design and develop foundational analytic models that clarify complex business questions and establish a consistent framework for measurement.
- Conduct in-depth explorations of customer behavior and operational data to surface actionable insights that enhance the end-user experience.
- Translate sophisticated analytical findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead the evaluation and optimization of our existing reporting tools and frameworks to ensure they meet evolving strategic demands.
- Refine our analytics stack within our BI platforms, focusing on scalability, performance, and best practices for modern data environments.
- Establish rigorous tracking mechanisms for key performance indicators to evaluate the success of initiatives across the customer journey.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to integrate data quality checks and standardize definitions across all data sources.
- Guide strategic decisions by analyzing the impact of marketing, product, and operational changes using robust statistical methods.
- Champion a data-first mindset by documenting methodologies and empowering other teams to leverage data confidently in their workflows.
- Identify and prototype new analytical approaches that reduce manual effort and improve the efficiency of our data processes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our data warehouse architecture to ensure optimal query performance and data integrity.
- Support the implementation of LTV and MMM models to provide deeper insights into customer lifetime value and marketing effectiveness.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on analytics best practices, mentoring junior analysts and elevating the overall capability of the team.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of five years of professional experience in quantitative analysis, data science, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and dbt to manipulate, transform, and model complex datasets.
- Show a proven track record of designing and implementing dashboards using BI tools such as Hex or Looker.
- Possess familiarity with modern data warehouse platforms, including Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities when working with ambiguous, unstructured data sets that require innovative solutions.
- Communicate analytical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Have experience working in fast-paced environments where priorities shift and multiple projects must be managed simultaneously.
- Understand the importance of data governance and be committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and reliability in all analyses.

- Bring prior experience with marketing attribution techniques to refine how we understand channel performance.
- Contribute background in building LTV or MMM models to enhance our strategic understanding of customer behavior.
