About the role

You are the linchpin for ensuring that products flow seamlessly from initial supplier commitments to final delivery at customers' doorsteps. You will own the integrity of our inbound and outbound logistics, driving execution and visibility at every checkpoint. This position requires you to manage purchase order flow, freight execution, and 3PL coordination while maintaining rigorous SKU management and issue resolution. You will act as the primary point of contact for resolving supply chain disruptions, ensuring continuity even during peak periods and major product launches. Your work will directly support supply planning and warehouse visibility through proactive risk management and precise reporting. You will translate complex logistics data into clear insights for cross-functional partners, enabling faster decision-making. Ultimately, you will safeguard customer satisfaction by ensuring that the right products arrive at the right time, in the right condition, and in the correct quantities.

What you'll do

• Manage inbound purchase orders and shipments, ensuring suppliers meet ship dates, quantities, and documentation, while proactively flagging risks and maintaining reporting for supply planning and warehouse visibility.
• Coordinate inbound freight bookings and track shipments through delivery, resolving delays, shortages, damages, or missing paperwork with carriers and suppliers.
• Execute and track outbound shipments, including 3PL coordination, replacements, and issue resolution to maintain service level commitments.
• Partnering with warehouse teams to ensure timely execution, especially during peak periods, launches, and high-volume seasons, aligning labor and capacity.
• Own SKU setup and ongoing maintenance in NetSuite, ensuring item data accuracy across supply chain-critical fields such as dimensions, attributes, and replenishment rules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly KPI reporting on PO health, inbound/outbound performance, transit times, and service levels to support strategic planning.
• Support cross-functional handoffs and process improvements across Sourcing, Planning, CX, Logistics, and warehouse partners to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Manage ad hoc, rush, or exception-based shipments as needed, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to meet urgent demands.
• Maintain detailed trackers and documentation for all supply chain activities, ensuring audit readiness and historical accuracy.
• Collaborate with finance teams to reconcile inventory valuations, identify discrepancies, and support month-end close activities related to stock positions.
• Monitor carrier performance and freight costs, providing feedback for contract negotiations and optimization opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis for stockouts, delays, or data discrepancies, developing action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Liaise with 3PL providers to optimize dock schedules, receiving processes, and picking workflows for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations related to import/export documentation and customs filings.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, demonstrating foundational knowledge of logistics principles.
• Bring 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, sourcing, production, or operations within a fast-paced retail or commerce environment.
• Show advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex data analysis to drive insights.
• Demonstrate experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, and distribution centers or 3PLs to manage transportation and fulfillment.
• Provide evidence of hands-on NetSuite experience, specifically in SKU/item management and supply chain-related workflows that impact order fulfillment.
• Exhibit eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, scaling supply chain environment that demands adaptability and continuous improvement.
• Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple inbound and outbound shipments, purchase orders, and SKUs simultaneously without dropping the ball.
• Display comfort when working with large data sets, maintaining accuracy across detailed trackers, reports, and master data files.
• Highlight attention to detail, with a strong focus on data hygiene, system accuracy, and consistent follow-through on commitments.
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment where supply chain timelines can shift rapidly due to external factors.
• Show proactivity in identifying and escalating risks related to timing, quantities, or system data integrity before they impact customers or partners.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, asking thorough questions and documenting issues to ensure stakeholders remain aligned and informed.
• Exhibit reliability and ownership, taking full responsibility for resolving issues end-to-end while maintaining a positive and collaborative demeanor.

Practical notes

The role is based in New York, NY, and requires full-time on-site presence. Candidates must be available during standard business hours as defined by the company's operational needs. This position is not eligible for remote work or flexible schedules at this time. Travel is not required for this role, ensuring that you can focus entirely on optimizing our supply chain operations from our headquarters.
