AI GTM Operations Lead
OverviewUSAFull Time1mo ago
Job description
About the role
You operate at the intersection of strategy and execution as AI. You translate leadership intent into clear execution plans, metrics, and tracking mechanisms while maintaining rigorous operational discipline. You combine structured thinking with decisive action to design GTM structures, run experiments, and iteratively improve how the organization wins and loses in the market.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Determine where to prioritize focus and where to deprioritize effort across markets, verticals, territories, and customer segments using evidence and risk assessments.
- Convert leadership input into concrete execution plans, defined metrics, and progress tracking systems that make decision-making faster and more transparent.
- Support decisions by producing analysis, memos, and structured thinking that clarify assumptions, trade-offs, and expected outcomes.
- Design and run cross-functional experiments targeting specific applications, collaborating with marketing, outbound sales, and other teams to test hypotheses.
- Create and continuously iterate on sales decks and narratives so they reflect real deal outcomes and evolving buyer concerns.
- Build and refresh case studies and ROI materials that demonstrate value based on observed results from actual deployments.
- Develop playbooks by vertical or customer type that standardize winning approaches and reduce reliance on ad hoc judgment.
- Support and potentially lead internal sales trainings to ensure teams understand offers, objections, and evidence.
- Own HubSpot configuration, data architecture, hygiene, dashboards, and reporting to maintain a reliable single source of truth.
- Build reports for weekly pipeline reviews that surface leading and lagging indicators, risk patterns, and decision points.
- Build reports for founder and leadership updates that summarize progress, key shifts in the pipeline, and recommended actions.
- Identify long-term GTM improvements by studying win/loss patterns and proposing structural changes to systems and workflows.
- Define roles and hiring plans for sales and GTM functions based on current demands and future growth scenarios.
- Support interviewing and onboarding so new hires ramp efficiently and adhere to standardized practices.
- Contribute to evolving the GTM organization structure as the company scales, aligning roles, responsibilities, and processes.
- Join customer calls, partner meetings, and internal GTM discussions to observe outcomes and understand how deals are won and lost.
- Build firsthand understanding of how deals are won and lost by observing live negotiations, pricing discussions, and deployment realities.
- Expand and work on experimental sales channels by testing new outreach methods, partnerships, and engagement models.
- Travel to manufacturing sites in the US and potentially internationally to validate assumptions and observe implementation contexts.
Requirements
- Bring experience from a startup or other high-paced and ambiguous environment where outcomes are uncertain and action is constant.
- Demonstrate proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership without requiring rigid hierarchy.
- Show a strong operational and execution mindset with a bias toward action, delivering tangible outputs even when requirements are incomplete.
- Ability to design structure and process without over-bureaucratizing, balancing clarity with speed.
- Willingness to dig deeper into camera technology to understand capabilities, limitations, and implications for GTM choices.
- Possess a technical background, degree, or experience, or demonstrate willingness to learn the necessary concepts to perform the role.
Nice to have
- Experience in technical domains such as engineering, hardware, AI, manufacturing, or automation that helps you speak the language of implementation teams.
- Experience working and interfacing across multiple countries, navigating different regulatory, cultural, and commercial expectations.
- Exposure to building revenue operations infrastructure from scratch, including CRM architecture, data models, and reporting frameworks.
Engineering methods
- Apply structured methods and tools to organize work, manage risk assessments, and track outcomes across the GTM lifecycle.
Relevant systems
- HubSpot for CRM configuration, data hygiene, dashboards, and reporting.
Practical notes
- You will work across US and Mexico markets as well as manufacturing sites, requiring flexibility for domestic and international travel.
- This role is based in a hybrid work environment with an expectation of reliable in-person collaboration during key work periods.
- Constraints around roles, departments, tools, methods, numeric thresholds, and exact team structures are not specified; you are expected to operate with judgment and ownership within these boundaries.
- Compensatory considerations are not detailed in this document; refer to the official apply page for complete compensation, benefits, and policy details.
