What you'll do

• Lead the creation of planning and design documentation for a variety of engineering projects.
• Perform design calculations while adhering to both team and client standards.
• Serve as the project manager for certain initiatives and take the lead as the design engineer on others.
• Ensure that quality assurance and quality control protocols are strictly followed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work collaboratively with various teams, clients, and consultants to guarantee the successful completion of projects.
• Review and approve design plans and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in design and project management.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns or changes in scope.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience in project management is highly desirable.
• A valid Professional Engineer (PE) License is a must-have.
• Proficiency in Revit software is essential for this role.
• A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required for consideration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to work effectively within a team.
• Previous experience in leading teams and managing engineering projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with data center operations and design principles is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making is essential.

• The salary for this position ranges from $98,000 to $145,000 USD per year, contingent on experience and location.
