Assist senior engineers in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and components for client projects.
Prepare detailed technical drawings and engineering documentation following established industry standards and practices.
Participate in project team meetings and contribute constructive ideas for improving mechanical design approaches.
Support the creation of engineering specifications and assist with material selection for various applications.
Conduct basic engineering calculations and analyses to inform mechanical design decisions and validate concepts.
Help coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration across project deliverables.
Review project requirements and translate them into clear mechanical design parameters and solutions.
Maintain organized records of engineering work, project data, and relevant documentation for future reference.
Learn and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices in day-to-day engineering tasks.
Communicate project updates, findings, and technical observations to team members and project stakeholders clearly.
Contribute to the development of testing plans and help evaluate mechanical system performance results.
Support the preparation of cost estimates and material budgets associated with mechanical engineering scope.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on mechanical design alternatives and improvements.
Assist with the selection and procurement of mechanical equipment and components for projects.
Document design changes and maintain version control for engineering drawings and specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Solid understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and material science concepts.
Proficiency with standard office productivity software and basic computer-aided design tools is expected.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical reports and presenting findings.
A detail-oriented approach with a consistent commitment to producing accurate and reliable work products.
Willingness to continuously learn new technical skills and accept growing responsibility within projects.
