What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, promoting best practices in software development and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Drive the architectural design and technical strategy for new features and enhancements, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team productivity and software quality.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and implement innovative solutions.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Proven experience in managing software development projects and leading technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- A passion for improving patient experiences through technology.
