What you'll do

• Lead a talented team of engineers in the design and implementation of the Nex Health Synchronizer, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project requirements and translate them into actionable engineering tasks.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the engineering department.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of features while maintaining code quality and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
• Proven experience in developing and scaling web applications, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby, and experience with modern frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
