Technical Programs Manager
Job description
About the role
You are the technical anchor of our scaled enterprise customer success organization, operating at the intersection of education, architecture, and execution. In this role, you own the design and delivery of one-to-many technical enablement that removes complexity for hundreds of enterprise users simultaneously. You will not manage a traditional book of business but will instead act as a high-impact technical unblocker, translating deep architectural knowledge into actionable guidance. You will run live sessions, host office hours, and build the reusable assets that allow our automated systems to scale reliably. Ultimately, you will drive retention by ensuring our customers' workflows are robust, secure, and future-proof. This is a role for a builder who thrives when solving the hardest technical education and operational challenges.
Key facts
What you'll do
Run the technical programs that power enterprise adoption, including weekly office hours, monthly deep-dive webinars on error handling, AI agents, self-hosting at scale, security and governance, and best practices, while leading live demos during weekly group onboarding calls.
Own the enterprise Slack channel as the definitive technical expert, triaging questions, answering complex queries, escalating to Product when necessary, and converting recurring threads into reusable content that prevents future issues.
Help with high-impact implementation support by jumping into activation calls to unblock customers who are stuck, ensuring they return to efficient self-serve paths rather than becoming dependent on hands-on assistance.
Partner with cross-functional teams to build the playbooks that define our technical standard, covering reference workflows, integration patterns, security and governance guides, migration guides, and AI agent patterns that allow the segment to scale efficiently.
Translate the most frequent questions and hurdles observed in Office Hours and webinars into durable technical assets, including advanced use-case templates, video tutorials, and detailed technical documentation for the Digital CS team to distribute in automated campaigns.
Build internal automations using n8n itself, creating workflows for health-score triggers, lifecycle alerts, and Slack ↔ Vitally syncs, demonstrating best-in-class dogfooding practices across the organization.
Drive retention through proactive technical health by identifying accounts with fragile setups, such as single points of failure, poor error handling, scaling bottlenecks, or brittle credentials, and intervening before these issues reach renewal conversations.
Operate as the critical Product Feedback Loop by synthesizing real-world friction points from live sessions and feeding structured insights directly to Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve the core n8n experience.
Maintain a strong presence in enterprise technical discussions, representing the voice of the scaled technical user and ensuring that architectural complexity is made accessible to diverse audiences.
Own the end-to-end quality of technical enablement content, ensuring that every template, guide, and tutorial meets a high bar for accuracy, clarity, and operational relevance.

You possess hands-on technical proficiency with APIs, webhooks, JSON, JavaScript, and workflow automation, allowing you to troubleshoot complex integrations on the fly with confidence.
You demonstrate exceptional presentation and communication skills, being highly charismatic and comfortable commanding a room or a Zoom call with 50+ engineers, developers, or operations leaders.
You embrace a scalable mindset, showing deep empathy for builders and developers and consistently aiming to turn one-off 1:1 solutions into documented, repeatable 1-to-many assets.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment where priorities shift and ownership extends beyond traditional job descriptions.
You have a strong bias for action, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness when facing ambiguous or technically challenging situations.
