About Mixpanel Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform, trusted by more than 29,000 companies to help understand how people use the products they build. The company combines powerful analytics with AI that knows your business to help teams see what is working, diagnose issues, and decide what to build next. About the APAC Marketing Team The APAC Marketing team builds pipeline, awareness, and retention across one of Mixpanel's most strategic growth regions. The team manages a wide portfolio of initiatives, including events and partner marketing, localization, and customer marketing. Collaboration is central, with close work required across counterparts in EMEA and the US, as well as cross-functional alignment with sales, partnerships, pre-sales, and customer success teams throughout the APAC region. About the Role The organization is hiring a Senior Regional Marketing Manager to build the foundations of the ANZ business from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you will define what works in a market with no existing playbook. You will own programs across the full customer lifecycle, with events serving as a core channel. The ideal candidate will navigate uncertainty with confidence, determine the right strategic bets, and become the go-to expert for ANZ within the broader organization. You will report directly to the APAC Marketing Director. Key Facts The position is based in Sydney, Australia, with a hybrid work model. The role involves full lifecycle marketing ownership, where events are a central component of the strategy. The target annual compensation for this position is $180,000 USD. Responsibilities You will own and execute ANZ marketing programs from start to finish, including planning and measurable pipeline outcomes. A core part of the role involves managing full event logistics, which includes venue sourcing, vendor management, on-site execution, and tracking pipeline conversion after events. You will identify and test new marketing channels, scaling only those that demonstrate results based on data, not assumptions. Building customer advocacy and engagement through community programs is essential for deepening relationships with existing users. You will monitor performance metrics closely to adjust programs and processes to achieve pipeline goals. Anticipating risks and dependencies across ANZ initiatives and communicating them proactively to the APAC Marketing Director and cross-functional partners is a key duty. You will act as the primary source for ANZ market dynamics, sharing insights with APAC and global marketing peers to improve their programs in the region. We're Looking For Someone Who Has A proven track record in B2B or SaaS marketing, or within analytics-driven environments is required. Strong project management skills are necessary to manage multiple programs simultaneously without losing sight of the overall goal. You must be comfortable building process in undefined spaces and making sound decisions without a predefined playbook. A bias toward hands-on execution is essential, favoring action over excessive planning to move programs forward. Sound judgment regarding business fundamentals, including the connection between marketing spend, pipeline, and revenue, is critical. The ability to build trust with partners and stakeholders across different time zones and cultures is mandatory. A habit of testing ideas against data and adjusting course when results differ from expectations is required. Clear, direct communication, particularly when flagging risks or explaining tradeoffs to stakeholders, is expected. A genuine curiosity about the specific needs of ANZ customers, and how they differ from other markets Mixpanel serves, is highly valued. What You'll Do Your daily work will involve designing end-to-end ANZ programs that drive measurable pipeline from initial awareness through to long-term retention. You will orchestrate the entire event lifecycle, from initial venue selection through to on-site execution and subsequent pipeline conversion activities. The role requires championing a test-and-learn methodology by trying new marketing channels and scaling efforts only when data confirms growth potential. You will cultivate customer advocacy through the development of community programs that strengthen ties with existing users. Close monitoring of performance metrics will allow you to iterate programs to meet ambitious pipeline targets. You will anticipate and signal risks early by coordinating with APAC leadership and various cross-functional partners across different time zones. Serving as the definitive ANZ voice, you will share nuanced market information so that global campaigns are effective within the region. You will use data interpretation to refine messaging and tactics, changing direction when evidence suggests the initial assumptions are incorrect. A deep understanding of what makes ANZ buyers unique compared to other markets Mixpanel serves will guide your strategy. Collaboration with sales, partnerships, and success teams will ensure alignment of regional go-to-market efforts. Requirements You possess hands-on B2B or SaaS marketing experience, or a background in analytics-focused environments. You are capable of managing multiple programs at once while maintaining a clear view of strategic objectives. You thrive in environments where processes do not yet exist and are able to build structures and make decisions independently. You prefer doing rather than extensive planning, taking direct action to advance programs instead of waiting for perfect conditions. You demonstrate strong judgment in linking marketing expenditures
