About the role
Maze is seeking a Research Partner to join the Go-to-Market team as a strategic advisor and research expert within the United Kingdom region. In this role, you will own the end-to-end customer research engagement for prospects and customers, ensuring that Maze's user research platform delivers measurable business value. You will act as the primary research strategist for enterprise and product-led accounts, aligning stakeholder goals with evidence-based insights. You will translate complex research findings into clear narratives that influence executive decision-making and shape product roadmaps. This position requires you to build trusted relationships while elevating the maturity of research practices across cross-functional teams. You will balance qualitative depth with operational rigor to drive scalable research adoption. Ultimately, you will own the narrative that positions Maze as the indispensable engine of user-centric product development.

What you'll do
Partner with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Customer Success Managers to shape the commercial narrative for customer engagements across the full lifecycle.
Lead discovery calls, workshops, and executive briefings to uncover latent research needs and align them with Maze's platform capabilities.
Establish scalable research workflows that embed Maze into product development, decision-making, and continuous discovery practices.
Consult on UX Research best practices, democratized research, and research operations to help customers build sustainable in-house capabilities.
Translate ambiguous business problems into structured research plans that deliver actionable insights and clear ROI.
Facilitate hands-on sessions where stakeholders learn to design studies, interpret data, and iterate on their own research pipelines.
Influence stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-suite, through compelling storytelling and data-driven narratives.
Drive adoption of Maze by showcasing outcomes that demonstrate faster learning cycles and higher confidence in product decisions.
Balance strategic advisory work with tactical execution, ensuring that research activities remain aligned with customer success metrics.
Support the creation of reusable research assets, playbooks, and frameworks that scale across industries and customer segments.
Champion the integration of Maze within broader product development ecosystems, aligning tools, processes, and teams.
Identify and document new use cases that inform product enhancements, positioning, and thought leadership in the research operations space.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine onboarding, enablement, and ongoing value realization programs for UK-based customers.
Act as an external-facing thought leader, representing Maze at conferences, events, and community engagements where appropriate.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in UX Research, Research Operations, or a closely related discipline.
Direct experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at executive and operational levels.
Strong organizational skills, comfort with ambiguity, and a proven track record of driving initiatives forward without direct oversight.
Ability to fluidly move between strategic conversations and detailed, hands-on research execution.
Willingness to travel to conduct customer workshops, interviews, and company events across the United Kingdom and Europe.
Commitment to inclusive research practices and adherence to ethical standards in user data collection and usage.
Deep understanding of how research insights translate into product decisions and business outcomes in SaaS environments.
Nice to have
Familiarity with common UX Research, Design, and Product tools such as qualitative analytics, session recording, and survey platforms.
Hands-on experience scaling research programs within SaaS or product-led technology organizations.
Prior engagement with enterprise customers in regulated or highly complex industry verticals such as Financial Services or Automotive.
Experience working with tools like Maze, Figma, Jira, and collaboration platforms that support remote research workflows.
Understanding of conversion optimization and how research insights connect to commercial growth in e-commerce contexts.
Exposure to Klaviyo or similar marketing automation platforms that connect product data with customer communication workflows.
Practical notes
This role is open exclusively to candidates based in the United Kingdom due to collaboration and operational requirements.
Travel may be required for customer meetings, workshops, and company events, primarily within the United Kingdom and occasionally across Europe.
