What you'll do

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies, ensuring a consistent look and feel across various devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality code that meets the needs of our users.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience even under heavy load.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services, ensuring seamless data flow between the frontend and backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices in coding standards and design principles.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, proactively identifying areas for improvement in both the codebase and the overall user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and apply new knowledge to your work.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and libraries that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the frontend development process.
• Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Document your work thoroughly, ensuring that both technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand your contributions and the rationale behind design decisions.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow their skills in frontend development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide input on product features and functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and routing libraries (e.g., React Router).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming, with the ability to integrate backend services into frontend applications.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development practices.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript or other typed languages, enhancing code quality and maintainability.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and practices to ensure code reliability.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools for web applications.
