What you'll do

Lead the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of critical projects assigned to the Critical Projects Group at Martinconcrete.

Coordinate daily activities between engineering, operations, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.

Track project budgets closely, monitor expenditures against forecasts, and provide regular financial status updates to senior leadership.

Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop actionable mitigation plans to prevent delays and cost overruns.

Serve as the central communication hub between internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders throughout each project.

Prepare comprehensive project status reports, visual dashboards, and supporting documentation for review by management and client representatives.

Verify that all project deliverables meet applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance requirements.

Allocate resources effectively, including personnel assignments, equipment deployment, and material procurement, to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

Facilitate structured problem-solving sessions and decision-making meetings when project issues, scope changes, or unexpected challenges arise.

Maintain thorough project records, closeout documentation, and lessons-learned files to support organizational knowledge sharing and future planning.

Requirements

Substantial experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in a formal leadership or project management role.

Solid grounding in project management methodologies, critical path scheduling techniques, and systematic budget oversight and control.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities for engaging clearly with diverse stakeholders, teams, and external partners.

Demonstrated capacity to manage several projects at once while sustaining attention to detail and consistent quality standards.

A well-documented history of delivering projects on schedule, within approved budgets, and in accordance with agreed-upon scope.

Comfort with regular travel to project sites and field locations to oversee operations and resolve on-the-ground issues.

A Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a closely related technical discipline is required.

A minimum number of years of progressive project management experience in a construction or similar industry environment.

Nice to have

Prior experience collaborating with municipal authorities or government agencies on public infrastructure and development projects.
