Job description
International Affiliate at Lyra Health.
About the role
Affiliate Role at Lyra Clinical Associates
Lyra Clinical Associates is a distinct entity that partners with Lyra Health. This collaboration delivers evidence-based mental health care to more than 20 million people globally through employer relationships. An additional reach extends to over 100 million individuals via health plan and partner networks. The organization has facilitated more than 15 million mental health sessions and has published over 35 peer-reviewed studies. It achieves notable outcomes in access, clinical effectiveness, and cost efficiency. Lyra members can access care within one day, and nine out of ten members show improvement with the support of clinical providers. The company is transforming mental health access through Lyra Empower, which is the only fully integrated, AI-powered platform combining high-quality care with technological solutions. You will enter a contractual arrangement with Lyra Clinical Associates.
In this Affiliate role, you will manage a self-directed clinical caseload on a contractual basis. You will accept case referrals from Lyra's global corporate clients, providing short-term, goal-oriented counseling to employees and their dependents. You retain full autonomy over your practice, including the freedom to choose your own hours and case volume. This independence is supported by Lyra's clinical tools, administrative support, and professional training opportunities.
Clinical Care Delivery
You will provide high-quality, short-term counseling, typically consisting of 1 to 8 sessions per case. This support targets corporate employees and their families experiencing stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, or mild-to-moderate anxiety and depression.
Evidence-Based Practice
You will utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). All interventions are tailored to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) context.
Administrative Compliance
You will use Lyra's secure digital platform to manage scheduling, case notes, and adherence to global data privacy regulations.
Location and Engagement
The role is based in Port Moresby. The engagement is structured as a contract.
Compensation and Experience
The compensation rate is 85 USD per case. The position requires 3 to 5 years of post-license experience.
Key Responsibilities
You will set cases into structured workflows, intake referrals, and verify client needs before constructing targeted plans. Through designing brief interventions, you will build counseling paths using CBT, ACT, or SFBT aligned with EAP objectives.
Using digital tools, you will review progress data to confirm compliance and adjust tactics to improve outcomes. You will guide cases toward closure, delivering finalized plans that adhere to session limits and foster lasting change.
You will partner with global teams to align schedules and protocols, ensuring corporate affiliates receive consistent, high-touch service. The role involves orchestrating handoffs to refer complex needs to appropriate providers while maintaining clear boundaries around your function. Safeguarding information is paramount; you will uphold privacy standards across all platforms to protect member data at every step. You will champion efficiency by streamlining administrative tasks, ensuring that clinical time remains focused on member recovery.
Requirements
You must hold a valid license to practice in your region, ensuring eligibility to serve Port Moresby cases under local rules. You need to bring 3 to 5 years of post-license experience delivering brief, structured counseling within EAP or similar settings.
You must be able to commit to the compensation rate of 85 USD per case and work a flexible schedule that adapts to global client demands. You are expected to complete cases within the 1 to 8 session timeframe, utilizing evidence-based methods that fit short-term care frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Comfort with virtual platforms and asynchronous communication is preferred.
Tools and Systems
You will utilize Lyra Empower, Lyra Health, and the Lyra Clinical Associates platform.
