You will be engaged as a contractor by Lyra Clinical Associates.
In this Affiliate capacity, you will manage an independent clinical caseload on a flexible, contractual basis. You will accept case referrals from Lyra's global corporate client base, providing short-term, goal-oriented counseling to employees and their dependents. The role grants you full autonomy over your practice, including the freedom to set your own hours and determine your case volume. This autonomy is supported by Lyra's clinical tools, administrative support, and professional training resources.
Your primary responsibility is the delivery of clinical care. This involves providing high-quality, short-term counseling, typically spanning one to eight sessions per case. The client population includes corporate employees and their families experiencing issues such as stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, or mild-to-moderate anxiety and depression.
You are expected to practice evidence-based care. Treatment modalities will include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all adapted for an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) context. also, you will utilize Lyra's secure digital platform for all administrative functions, including scheduling, case note documentation, and ensuring global data privacy compliance.

Compensation: $120 per case, which encompasses an eight-session engagement.
What You Will Do
You will initiate cases by gathering necessary background information and routing employee concerns through established intake procedures. You will construct individualized support plans that draw upon evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, or Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Progress will be monitored through structured reviews that track outcomes and ensure strict adherence to privacy regulations for global data. You will coordinate with internal partner teams to ensure smooth handoffs, clarify expectations, and guide each engagement toward resolution. Cases will be closed responsibly, completed within the eight-session framework, with comprehensive summaries of outcomes and appropriate referrals when clinically indicated.
The role involves building your own capabilities through ongoing training, tool updates, and shared learning opportunities that strengthen future case management. You will partner with internal groups to refine clinical workflows, improve information flow, and support the development of healthier organizational cultures. A core function is to guide the intake experience, ensuring employees access care quickly and understand the structure of short-term support.
Requirements
You must possess a current license or equivalent authority to practice in your region. A minimum of three years of post-license experience is required, specifically in delivering employee counseling within an EAP or similar organizational setting.
You must utilize Lyra's digital platform for all scheduling, note-keeping, and compliance with privacy regulations. You should be capable of completing cases that average one to eight sessions while consistently maintaining high-quality care standards. Demonstrated familiarity with evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, or Acceptance Commitment Therapy, is mandatory.
