As an Affiliate EAP Counsellor, you would provide therapeutic support to employees and their families through employer partnerships, delivering counselling sessions remotely and contributing to improved mental health outcomes at scale. You would work within Lyra's affiliate network, helping individuals navigate personal and professional challenges while maintaining the clinical standards and care quality that define Lyra's approach to mental health.

What you'll do
Provide individual counselling sessions to employees and their dependents enrolled through employer partnerships
Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand client needs and develop appropriate personalised treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with Lyra's clinical standards and established care protocols
Track client progress systematically and document outcomes using the Lyra Empower digital platform
Collaborate with the broader care team to coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of support
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all professional ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements
Participate actively in ongoing clinical development and quality improvement activities within the affiliate network
Support diverse client populations across a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, and workplace stress
Contribute to Lyra's overarching mission of improving access to mental health care at scale
Engage with the AI-powered tools within Lyra Empower to enhance session planning and client monitoring
Communicate effectively with employer partners and internal teams to ensure alignment of care objectives
Uphold the highest standards of professional practice and contribute to positive client experiences
Requirements
Hold a master's or doctoral degree in counselling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field
Possess a valid professional licence or registration to practise as a mental health counsellor in India
Have a minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct counselling services to clients
Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy and related modalities
Comfortable working with a digital platform and virtual delivery of care in a remote or home-based setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse client populations
Willingness to maintain thorough clinical documentation and outcome tracking in accordance with Lyra's established standards
A genuine commitment to Lyra's values of clinical excellence, accessibility, and measurable client health outcomes
Nice to have
Experience working with Employee Assistance Programmes or employer-based mental health services is highly valued
Familiarity with the Lyra Empower platform or similar AI-enhanced care management tools is beneficial
Additional certifications in specialised therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or acceptance and commitment therapy
Prior experience supporting culturally diverse or multilingual client populations in a clinical or EAP setting
Background in delivering group-based or workshop-style mental health sessions within an organisational context
Skills & tools
Proficiency in cognitive behavioural therapy and other evidence-based treatment frameworks commonly used in counselling
Familiarity with virtual care delivery platforms and telehealth technologies for remote therapeutic sessions
Experience with clinical documentation and outcome measurement systems to track client progress over time
Strong knowledge of mental health conditions commonly encountered in workplace settings and employee populations
Ability to navigate the Lyra Empower AI-powered platform for session management and client tracking
Understanding of employer-based mental health benefit structures, EAP referral processes, and care coordination workflows
Competence in maintaining electronic health records and ensuring data privacy in digital care environments
Practical notes
an affiliate role, meaning you would work on a flexible, non-full-time basis with Lyra Health rather than as a direct employee
All counselling sessions are delivered remotely, allowing you to practise from any suitable location within India
As an affiliate, you would not be a direct employee of Lyra Health but would operate under a formal affiliate agreement
Lyra Health provides access to a network of mental health professionals and ongoing clinical support resources for all affiliate practitioners
Affiliates are expected to maintain current professional credentials and participate in Lyra's quality assurance and clinical review processes
