About the role
You will own the end to end administration of Lyft's global equity programs ensuring precision and ease of execution across all markets. In this role you will drive the long term strategy for our equity function while enabling rapid international expansion and managing increasing transaction volume. You will build and maintain critical infrastructure that supports the full lifecycle of equity programs from grant to exercise and tax reporting. The successful candidate will partner cross functionally to design and deliver ongoing programs including compliance, tax, mobility, and employee education with a focus on financial wellness. You will be an entrepreneurial and resourceful self starter who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment and excels at building strong trusted relationships. You will report directly to the Director Global Equity Programs in our Legal organization and act as a key stakeholder in all equity related initiatives.

What you'll do
You will support the administration of Lyft's global equity programs including processing all awards grants exercises cancellations and the issuance of all new grants in the US and in foreign jurisdictions covering RSUs PSUs ESPP capital markets transactions and other equity programs. You will continue to drive system automation on the Schwab Equiview platform across Workday and ADP to improve accuracy and efficiency. You will develop and deliver world class employee education programs for new and continuing employees with a focus on mechanics and overall financial wellness. You will support all aspects of SOX compliance and continuously work to build efficiencies around execution and documentation of key controls. You will engage with senior leadership from the legal finance and people organizations to design future equity programs and policies and tailor existing ones to the changing needs of our workforce. You will coordinate closely with the payroll team to ensure proper withholding of tax from equity proceeds and manage related adjustments. You will provide a high level of customer service in responding to inquiries from current and former employees as well as investors and internal partners. You will define domestic and international integration strategies for equity deals and support the M&A equity integration process for the team while working with stakeholders to execute on integration strategies. You will ensure that the structure of equity plans and awards are appropriate for international jurisdictions through close collaboration with legal and tax teams. You will assist with D&O Questionnaires and Proxy disclosure regarding director and executive officer stock ownership. You will support the 10b5-1 program for executives and insiders across two brokers and ensure robust controls and timely execution. You will support the timely filing of Section 16 reports Forms 3 4 and 5 with the SEC and maintain detailed audit trails for all equity transactions.
Requirements
You must have 7+ years of experience in stock plan administration including with public companies on a global scale which is a non negotiable requirement for this role. You must have experience effectively partnering with Total Rewards teams with international equity plans including M&A equity integration and supporting Compensation Committee processes. You must operate like an owner being self motivated reliable flexible and able to drive progress under tight deadlines without constant supervision. You must possess exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a strong track record of achievement and a tendency toward cross functional relationship building and a bias toward action. You must be able to distill complex concepts into simple easy to understand communications for diverse audiences. You must be comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels and communicating effectively and efficiently in a global matrixed environment. You must have a strong disposition toward empathy and create an environment where all participants feel supported respected and included. You must be capable of identifying and resolving issues before they surface and proactively manage risks across equity operations. CEP certification is preferred and very strong Excel skills are required. Knowledge of Workday ADP and the Schwab Equiview platform is a huge plus for day to day efficiency. You must have deep knowledge of equity accounting and operating in international jurisdictions across multiple regulatory frameworks.
