About the role
Later is a social media management platform that helps brands and businesses organize, schedule, and analyze their online content across multiple channels. The Enterprise Account Director will lead the growth and management of key enterprise relationships, driving long-term revenue and customer success. This role focuses on guiding large-scale accounts through the full lifecycle of engagement, from initial expansion to ongoing strategic partnership. The director will work closely with internal teams to ensure client goals are met and that Later delivers measurable value at scale, while reporting to the VP of Sales in a collaborative, data-driven environment.

What you'll do
- Own the full lifecycle of enterprise client accounts, from onboarding through long-term strategic planning and renewal.
- Develop and execute account strategies that align with each client's business objectives and growth ambitions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders at assigned enterprise-level organizations.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts by analyzing usage patterns and uncovering unmet needs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay client feedback and advocate for feature priorities.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and present performance reports that demonstrate value delivered to each client.
- Coordinate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure consistent messaging and a unified client experience.
- Build and maintain a detailed pipeline of enterprise prospects, tracking progress through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing structures that balance client needs with company revenue targets.
- Travel occasionally to client offices or industry events to strengthen relationships and present Later's platform capabilities.
- Monitor account health indicators and proactively address client concerns before they escalate into retention risks.
- Contribute to the development of enterprise playbooks and best practices that standardize success across the account management team.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts, with a minimum of five years in a client-facing leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in expanding existing accounts and driving net revenue growth within a portfolio of large clients.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing, and enterprise sales cycles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to executive-level audiences and technical stakeholders alike.
- Experience working with social media or marketing technology platforms is highly valued.
- Ability to travel as needed, with comfort working across multiple time zones and regions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously.
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and proactive communication is essential.
