What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, and deliverables, and communicate these plans to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project specifications and requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address any issues that arise.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, safety compliance, and overall project status, providing feedback to teams as needed.
• Prepare and present project updates to clients and upper management, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting open communication and resolving conflicts among team members.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards relevant to construction projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean Construction principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green construction certifications.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, particularly in managing client relationships.
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
