What you'll do

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables for control systems integration projects.
• Design and develop control system architectures, including hardware and software components, tailored to client specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in control systems integration or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python, with a strong understanding of control algorithms.
• Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site project support and client training.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced control strategies, such as PID control, fuzzy logic, or model predictive control.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based control systems and IoT (Internet of Things) applications.
• Certification in relevant control systems or project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma).
• Previous experience in a specific industry sector, such as water/wastewater, manufacturing, or energy.

Skills & tools
