What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple transportation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct regular project meetings to track progress, address challenges, and communicate updates to all relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial accountability.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale transportation projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
