About the role
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of our largest direct mail acquisition channel as its dedicated channel owner. What you'll do
- You will architect and scale direct mail marketing campaigns targeting prospective members to improve conversion rates and channel efficiency.
- You will manage significant marketing budgets with precision, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Procurement to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with topline expectations.
- You will construct a data-driven strategy and framework to prioritize initiatives, analyzing core metrics such as conversion rates and ROI to guide strategic adjustments.
- You will identify, secure, and manage internal and external resources necessary to optimize the direct mail channel and accelerate growth momentum.
- You will monitor and report on campaign performance, test results, and key insights to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- You will evaluate and integrate emerging trends in direct mail, consumer behavior, and technology to refine acquisition strategies continuously.
- You will partner with Creative teams to develop compelling content and mailer formats that resonate with target segments.
- You will implement robust testing methodologies to validate hypotheses and iterate on mailer designs, targeting, and offers.
- You will define and track KPIs to measure the success of the direct mail channel and demonstrate its contribution to revenue goals.
- You will serve as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and alignment on campaign objectives.
- You will leverage automation and vendor solutions to streamline processes and improve the scalability of direct mail operations.
- You will conduct post-campaign analyses to extract learnings and apply them to future initiatives.
Requirements
- You possess 3+ years of experience in growth, performance, or direct response marketing, with paid channel experience being a requirement and direct mail channel ownership strongly preferred.
- You have a proven track record of driving new customer acquisition using segmentation, personalization, and triggered communications.
- You demonstrate expertise in creative and copy experimentation, including productive partnerships with design teams to optimize messaging.
- You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable marketing strategies.
- You are highly organized and capable of prioritizing projects while handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- You are a motivated and energetic self-starter with a proven ability to work independently, learn quickly, and drive toward defined goals and targets.
- You are comfortable working within a hybrid model that requires in-office presence 3 days per week for the full duration of a typical business day.
