About the role
The Manager - Cloud Infrastructure leads the design, delivery, governance, and operational management of cloud infrastructure services with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and secondary expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role provides strategic and operational leadership for AMS (Application Management Services) clients, ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud environments. The Manager will lead cloud teams, drive service excellence, oversee vendor and stakeholder relationships, manage cloud budgets, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.

Define and execute cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with business and customer objectives while leading the design, implementation, and operational management of OCI environments and overseeing AWS support requirements.
Establish cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across managed services engagements to ensure consistent and secure delivery.
Drive cloud transformation initiatives, modernization programs, and operational excellence efforts to improve efficiency and reliability of cloud services.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to cloud engineering and operations teams, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure operations for AMS clients, maintaining service delivery within agreed SLAs, KPIs, and operational targets.
Oversee infrastructure availability, performance, capacity management, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and patch management processes to ensure operational readiness.
Drive major incident management, problem management, and root-cause remediation activities to minimize service disruptions and improve stability.
Review and approve secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architecture designs, focusing on security controls including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
Manage cloud infrastructure budgets, forecasting, and financial planning while monitoring cloud consumption trends and implementing optimization initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud consultants, engineers, and administrators, establishing performance goals and supporting employee development planning.

Supporting client audits, compliance reviews, and operational assessments is required, along with driving customer satisfaction, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
