Graviton Consulting is actively seeking a functional expert to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative solutions across the US and India. In this role, you will own the configuration and delivery of core Oracle PPM modules, ensuring that project financials, resource allocation, and portfolio management align with strategic client objectives. You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into precise system configurations. Your work will directly influence how clients manage project execution, monitor financial performance, and optimize resource utilization. You will be responsible for designing solutions that are not only functional but also scalable and maintainable within the Oracle PPM ecosystem. This position offers the opportunity to lead implementation efforts from initial discovery through post-deployment support. You will be instrumental in setting new standards for operational excellence for our diverse client base.

Key facts

What you'll do

Define and configure core Oracle PPM functional modules, including Project Financial, Resource, and Portfolio Management, to meet detailed business requirements.

Perform in-depth business analysis to gather, document, and validate client needs, ensuring system configuration aligns with project and portfolio objectives.

Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights into project performance, resource allocation, and portfolio health.

Lead end-to-end implementation activities, driving execution across all phases of the technology lifecycle, from initial discovery and design through build, testing, and deployment.

Translate complex client business processes into robust Oracle PPM configurations, ensuring solutions support efficient project execution and accurate financial tracking.

Provide expert-level training and continuous support to end-users, facilitating smooth adoption and maximizing the value of the Oracle PPM platform.

Collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure system configurations adhere to best practices and enhance operational efficiency.

Leverage experience with Oracle EBS Project Suite to understand standard project data flows, budgeting, forecasting, and capital asset processing within integrated environments.

Champion product leadership by guiding best practices throughout the product lifecycle and advising on improvements that increase profitability and operational effectiveness.

Act as a functional owner, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule while managing evolving client expectations.

Requirements

Bring a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience configuring Oracle PPM, with a proven track record of full lifecycle project delivery from requirements through deployment and support.

Demonstrate solid implementation experience within Oracle PPM modules, specifically Project Management, Resource Management, Portfolio Management, and Financial Management.

Possess a strong background in Oracle EBS Project Suite, including modules such as PA-Costing and PA-Billing, with a deep understanding of how project data flows through the system.

Showcase expertise in processing capital assets and integrating billing processes within project-based financial structures.

Exhibit advanced knowledge of budgeting and forecasting methodologies as they apply to project and portfolio management environments.

Have the ability to develop and configure reports that provide clear, data-driven insights into project and portfolio performance metrics.

Hold effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels, documenting requirements and articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Be willing to travel to client sites as needed to support implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.

Nice to have

Experience implementing complex integrations between Oracle PPM and other enterprise systems.

Knowledge of industry-specific best practices for project portfolio management and governance.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies as they intersect with traditional Oracle EBS and PPM environments.
