About the role
This Oracle EBS Technical Consultant role at Highstreetit involves owning the full lifecycle of complex technical solutions based on Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1 and R12.2. The hired individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing enterprise applications to meet specific business requirements. They will leverage deep expertise in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle ADF to build robust and scalable technical components. A key part of this role includes troubleshooting intricate production issues and ensuring timely resolutions with minimal business disruption. The consultant will also create and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP web services for third-party system connectivity. They will translate functional requirements from business users into precise technical design documents and unit test cases. This position requires active participation in solution design, estimation sessions, testing cycles, and deployment activities. The role demands a proactive approach to optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code performance across the EBS environment.

What you'll do
Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and database triggers to implement business logic.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and system performance.
Design and develop Oracle Forms and Reports to support business processes and data visualization needs.
Create and manage XML Publisher (BI Publisher) reports for structured data presentation and document generation.
Customize Oracle Workflow processes, including alerts and notifications, to automate business operations.
Build and extend interfaces, conversions, extensions, reports, integrations, and workflow (RICEW) objects across modules.
Develop and customize Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages, controllers, regions, and application modules for user interaction.
Design and develop Oracle ADF applications and integrations to connect EBS with external systems and services.
Create and support REST and SOAP web services for seamless integration with third-party applications.
Develop inbound and outbound interfaces using Oracle APIs, Open Interface tables, and Concurrent Programs.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions to critical incidents.
Perform detailed code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and performance optimization of SQL and PL/SQL components.
Prepare comprehensive technical design documents, deployment documentation, and unit test cases for development activities.
Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support application upgrades, patching cycles, and production deployments with careful planning and execution.
Participate in estimations, solution design discussions, testing cycles, and release management activities.
Requirements
Possess a strong background in Oracle EBS R12.1 and R12.2 development practices and methodologies.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Oracle AOL concepts, including architecture, responsibilities, and multi-org implementations.
Have hands-on experience with Concurrent Programs, including request and concurrent execution processes.
Show proficiency in managing Value Sets and their validation within the EBS environment.
Understand Flexfields implementation, including Descriptive Flexfields (DFF) and Key Flexfields (KFF).
Have practical experience with Oracle Workflow, including workflow builder and process automation.
Develop skills in creating and managing Alerts for monitoring critical business and system events.
Gain expertise in using Oracle APIs and Open Interface Tables for data integration and synchronization.
Nice to have
Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments to support iterative development and delivery.
Possess knowledge of Oracle Fusion integrations and how they connect with EBS systems.

This engagement is structured as an Independent Contractor (C2C) based in Highstreet, India.
The role may require adherence to specific working hours as determined by project needs and client expectations.
Travel requirements, if any, will be defined based on project location and client needs.
Visa and documentation responsibilities fall under the contractor for local compliance in India.
Project deadlines and milestones will be defined collaboratively during the engagement initiation phase.
