You will spearhead the delivery of Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management solutions for strategic client engagements, acting as the primary functional authority on project execution. You will own the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, ensuring that project financials, costing structures, billing processes, and reporting frameworks are aligned with industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to uncover requirements, validate system behavior, and ensure the delivered solution enhances operational visibility and control. What you'll do
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules, including Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Project Control.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements, translating them into precise system configurations and design specifications.
Configure project structures, budgeting methodologies, billing rules, revenue recognition processes, and cost management functionalities to align with client business models.
Ensure accurate capture and management of project-related costs and revenues throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining data integrity and compliance.
Support and streamline billing and revenue recognition cycles, ensuring they operate efficiently and adhere to contractual and financial guidelines.
Design and implement solutions for capital project tracking, project budgeting, and contract-based billing to provide comprehensive financial oversight.
Conduct Configuration and Regression Testing (CRP) sessions to validate end-to-end project flows, confirming accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Ensure system configurations comply with established business rules, accounting standards, and audit requirements to mitigate operational and financial risk.
Produce high-quality documentation for functional designs, system configurations, test scenarios, test cases, and user guides to support implementation and maintenance.
Recommend Oracle Cloud best practices and propose enhancements to maximize the solution's value, performance, and scalability.
Stay current with new Oracle Cloud PPM releases, features, and capabilities, evaluating their potential impact on existing implementations and client environments.
Work effectively with both onshore and offshore functional and technical teams, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment across distributed project resources.
Leverage strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams at all organizational levels.
Act as a functional lead during full implementation cycles, guiding the team through configuration, testing, training, and go-live support activities.
Requirements
You must possess a minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud, with a focused specialization in Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
You must have completed a minimum of 3 full-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations in a functional lead capacity, demonstrating end-to-end ownership from design to deployment.
You must have a deep, practical understanding of core Oracle Cloud PPM modules, including Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Contracts.
You must have hands-on configuration experience with complex project structures, detailed task setups, diverse costing methods, and intricate billing rules.
You must have extensive experience in gathering business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis sessions, managing configuration tasks, executing testing protocols, delivering training materials, and providing robust go-live support.
You must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear, professional, and effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
You must have proven experience working collaboratively with both onshore and offshore functional and technical teams, navigating time zone differences and cultural dynamics effectively.
You must have a strong commitment to producing high-quality work, including meticulous attention to detail, organized thought processes, and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
You must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
You must have a solid understanding of project management principles and financial governance to ensure solutions support controlled and transparent project execution.
You must be willing to travel internationally as required to support client engagements, including potential extended travel periods during implementation phases.
You must be available to work from the Highstreet location in India during standard business hours as defined by client and project needs.
You must comply with company policies regarding confidentiality, data security, and professional conduct throughout the engagement.
Nice to have
You have exposure to integrating Oracle PPM with other Oracle Cloud modules such as Financials, Procurement, or Human Capital Management (HCM).
You are familiar with Oracle Reporting Tools, including OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View, to develop and deliver actionable insights from project data.
You hold an Oracle Cloud PPM Certification, which demonstrates validated expertise and commitment to the platform.
You have a solid understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management best practices.
You have hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud environments released from version 21 onwards, adapting to evolving features and functionalities.
