What you'll do

• Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces that align with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive web applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless experience across various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, providing timely solutions to enhance performance and user satisfaction.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development to continuously improve our products.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development within the team.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
• Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and user guides for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights that inform project direction and priorities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring high-quality code through automated testing.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to create inclusive web applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js or PHP to facilitate better collaboration with back-end teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects that demonstrate your passion for development.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of performance optimization tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest)
• Understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
• Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
