Front-End Senior Engineer
Job description
About the role
Delinea is pioneering the securing of human and machine identities through intelligent, centralized authorization that empowers organizations to govern interactions across the modern enterprise. The role involves building the front-end of a platform that applies context throughout the entire identity lifecycle, spanning cloud and traditional infrastructure, data, SaaS applications, and AI. You will own the client-side architecture for a platform that discovers all identities, including workforce, IT administrators, developers, and machines, assigning appropriate access levels and detecting irregularities in real-time. This position is critical in delivering a user interface that enables robust security and operational efficiency without compromise, deploying solutions in weeks rather than months. You will be responsible for translating complex security concepts into intuitive, high-performance web experiences that drive adoption across global enterprises.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect and develop single-page applications using Angular to deliver modular, scalable, and responsive user interfaces for identity security.
- Integrate and consume RESTful web services built on ASP.NET Core and .NET Framework to enable seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Implement state management solutions using NgRx and RxJS observables to ensure predictable data flow and application behavior.
- Transform design mockups into semantic, mobile-first HTML5 structures enhanced with SASS and CSS3 for optimal cross-browser rendering.
- Refactor legacy UI components into lightweight, reusable modules that improve maintainability and application performance.
- Establish rigorous unit testing suites using Jasmine, Karma, and Jest to validate functionality and prevent regressions in production.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product owners to align technical implementation with business objectives.
- Optimize application loading times and runtime efficiency to support enterprise-scale identity operations across hybrid environments.
- Contribute to the definition and enforcement of front-end coding standards that support long-term platform stability.
- Investigate and prototype emerging front-end technologies that could enhance identity management workflows and user interactions.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or possess equivalent practical industry experience through professional work history.
- Demonstrate proficient expertise in Angular, specifically targeting version 12 or higher, along with strong TypeScript skills.
- Show deep understanding of modern HTML5, CSS3, and advanced JavaScript (ES6+) for building dynamic and responsive interfaces.
- Possess a working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API structures to effectively integrate with backend services.
- Maintain professional experience using Git and standard branching workflows to manage source code across distributed teams.
- Exhibit familiarity with client-side automated unit testing methodologies and testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
- Bring hands-on experience with Angular Material, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS for building consistent and accessible UI components.
- Show exposure to deploying and managing applications within Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services cloud platforms.
- Demonstrate familiarity with DevOps pipelines, automated build systems, and continuous integration practices to support rapid releases.
- Commit to adhering to strict security and compliance standards relevant to identity and access management in enterprise contexts.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Thrive in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive iterative improvement.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills when addressing complex UI challenges related to identity governance and security workflows.
- Take ownership of production issues and contribute to debugging efforts across the full stack when necessary.
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to open-source projects related to identity, security, or enterprise web applications.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools that support front-end deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of SAML or OAuth 2.0 protocols as they relate to identity federation and access control.
