What you'll do
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage the financial reporting process, including the consolidation of financial results across multiple business units.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations and can capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of all audit requirements.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements as necessary.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, contributing to overall profitability.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, with experience in consolidations and multi-entity accounting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced skills in Excel and financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and present financial information clearly.
- Experience in managing audits and working with external auditors is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in financial matters.
